Hotel Management Courses

The course is conducted by the Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism of Central Province with the collaboration of Private hotel schools (NVQ level 3) and Tourist hotels, under the supervision of the Ministry of Tourism and Sri Lanka Institute of Hotel Management (SLITHM). 

Course Details 

Eligibility to Apply

Not less than 18 Years old and not more than 30 years old.

Should have completed G.C.E.  (A/L) 

The candidate must  live within the Central Province. 

Venue:

Lectures – Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism 

Practical Sessions – SLITHM – Kundasale / Hotel School - Matale

Course Evaluation:

The final evaluation will include both written and practical tests. 

Certificate:

The certificate will be issued by the Sri Lanka Institute of Hotel Management (SLITHM).

You can visit the office of the Department of Trade, Commerce and Tourism - Gatambe and register.

You will be selected for the course through an interview.

or

Maximum number of candidates selected for one course is 40.
